How to Paint a Croissant (Watercolor or Gouache)

In this article we talk about how to paint a croissant with Himi gouache. If you’ve ever been to France or to South Coast Plaza in Southern California for a croissant, then you’ll understand why I love these cute little pastries.

I painted this artwork using Himi Gouache ordered from Amazon. This affordable kit of basic colors can paint a wide range of subjects. I like it for beginners because it’s easy to use and has all the basic colors you would need.

In this painting, I use a light blue for the background. I mix a lot of water to thin the blue paint and cover the background.
